Daniel Cruz Hernandez (Chief Executive Officer)
As the founder of Producer Royalty, Daniel Cruz Hernandez brings a unique combination of legal expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and a passion for helping others attain their most ambitious desires. While in law school, Daniel identified the challenges producers face and launched Producer Royalty to provide both representation and education in a seamless, impactful way.
Fueled by a passion for educating, Daniel’s obsession with simplifying the complexities of the music industry has propelled Producer Royalty to become a leading music business content brand. As a relationship-driven leader, Daniel places people at the center of everything he does. Whether assembling a talented team, celebrating client successes, or building connections that move the company forward, Daniel believes relationships are the foundation of progress.
Daniel envisions Producer Royalty as both a champion for producers and a catalyst for change in the music industry. In 2025, he will expand this vision with the launch of the first law firm devoted to producers.

Dan Montano is the mastermind behind the revolutionary systems that have propelled Producer Royalty to the forefront of royalty collection. With his roots in financial advising and his role as COO of the Grammy-winning, 100X RIAA-certified A1 Music Group, Dan brings a level of professionalism and business acumen rarely seen in the music industry.
Dan's passion lies in solving two of the music industry’s most persistent problems: inefficiency and lack of transparency. Whether he’s on long calls with label staff, fine-tuning internal processes, or persistently following up on cases, Dan’s relentless pursuit of improvement ensures Producer Royalty stays ahead of the curve.
